AC Milan manager Paulo Fonseca said he had confidence in his team ahead of the derby at Inter Milan on Sunday, despite acknowledging that his squad needed more time to develop into a formidable unit.The Portuguese coach is under mounting pressure following a disappointing start to the season.

Paulo Fonseca has urged patience as he looks to build his Milan squad, with Sunday's derby clash against Inter next up.

According to Sky Italia (see photo below), the manager is set to deploy a 4-4-2 formation with Tammy Abraham and Alvaro Morata starting up front. Both have impressed so far and the hope is that they can do more good together. Furthermore, this means Ruben Loftus-Cheek is expected to be on the bench.
