After missing three straight games because of a shoulder injury, Kansas senior forward KJ Adams returned to play 26 minutes in Tuesday’s 91-87 victory over UCF at Allen Fieldhouse.

KJ Adams Jr. made his highly anticipated return to the court for Kansas basketball against UCF after missing several games due to a shoulder injury he sustained in the Iowa State game on January 15th. His return was a boost for the Jayhawks, who were looking to bounce back from a tough loss to Houston.

Feb. 1 vs. Baylor is a “reasonable projection” on a potential return for the injured Kansas forward KJ Adams, Jayhawks head coach Bill Self told ESPN’s Pete Thamel. Self cautioned that Adams, who injured his shoulder against Iowa State on Jan.

Adams and Dajuan Harris (ankle sprain) were both able to practice on a limited basis in preparation for Saturday’s game vs. Baylor, KU coach Bill Self said.
