The UK’s Royal Mint is set to celebrate the legacy of George Orwell, the author of "Nineteen Eighty-Four" and "Animal Farm", with a special £2 coin marking the 75th anniversary of his death.

The George Orwell commemorative £2 coin will be available to buy in uncirculated, gold proof and silver proof versions from the Royal Mint’s website at 9am on January 15, with prices starting at £17.50.
