NJ Transit reaches a tentative four year contract with its largest union representing thousands of bus drivers and mechanics.

New Jersey Transit (NJ Transit) and its largest union, the Amalgamated Transit Union (ATU), on May 7 reported reaching a “fair and fiscally responsible” tentative agreement. Meanwhile, the agency has released a contingency service plan if a separate deal is not reached with the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen (BLET) before May 16.
