With three different water companies, all affected by the Eaton Fire, many Altadena residents are still concerned about toxic chemicals coming out of their taps.Those residents, such as Maria Rubio, continue to load up with more water battles because of the lingering fear around her tap water.

Black residents of Altadena were more likely to have their homes damaged or destroyed by the Eaton fire and will have a harder financial road to recovery from the disaster, according to research released Tuesday by UCLA.
