The Young Bucks won the gold at NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty. The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) were set to challenge Great-O-Khan and HENARE for the IWGP Tag Team Championship at the show.

Yota Tsuji retained the IWGP Global Heavyweight Title at NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty, defeating Jack Perry. Tsuji survived a low blow and Olympic Slam, kicking out just before three. Tsuji ate a knee strike before building momentum to catch Perry with the Gene Blaster.
