Waymo expands its 24/7 robotaxi service in Silicon Valley to select customers, marking progress in autonomous ride-hailing.

The technology company’s self-driving vehicles will offer rides to users of the company’s app in all or parts of four Northern California cities. People in the new service zone will be chosen from a pool of eligible app users.

Waymo has begun offering their self-driving ride services to select customers in Mountain View, Los Altos, Palo Alto and parts of Sunnyvale.
