An inmate at the Bexar County jail died after he was found unresponsive by a deputy in his cell. This marks the fourth death at the jail this year. Last year, there were 13 jail inmate deaths.

Texas Rangers arrested Bexar County detention officer Clemente Lopez Jr., 20, on May 2. He is accused of allowing inmates into Bazan’s cell, where they allegedly beat him to death.
