At approximately 2:40 p.m. on November 6, 2024, Plymouth Police officers were dispatched to a residence for a call of a disturbance at 27 Route 25 in Plymouth, New Hampshire. Responding police officers heard sounds consistent with gunshots coming from the interior of the residence at which point the subject barricaded himself inside.

Police shot and killed a man during a standoff early Thursday morning in Plymouth. The shooting happened at the Federal House Inn on Route 25. Investigators did not release the identity of the man who was killed. An autopsy will be scheduled, officials said. According to the attorney general's office, no law enforcement officers were injured.
