The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo has named Single Malt Scotch Whisky Glenfiddich as a Presenting Partner in a move that unites two iconic Scottish institutions recognised around the world.

The 59th Edinburgh Military Tattoo is here. As ever, if you weren't lucky enough to make it to the event, the BBC was there to follow the action from Edinburgh's spectacular Castle Esplanade.

This year marks the 67th year of the Tattoo, which is held on the famous Esplanade of Edinburgh Castle. Acts from home and away will come together under the theme Tunes of Glory.
