Pep Guardiola is making sure everyone at Manchester City knows that their rivals — and he calls Arsenal their top throne challenger — are after what's theirs.

Manchester City striker Vivianne Miedema scored and made another goal against her former club Arsenal on Sunday but the Gunners still managed to grab a 2-2 draw in their Women's Super League clash thanks to a late Beth Mead goal at The Emirates.

Arsenal will feel aggrieved not to leave Manchester with all three points, but their hard-fought draw showed City that their title quest is for real.

Glasner complained after the Carabao Cup win over Queens Park Rangers in midweek that his team was too slow moving the ball and passed too much. That was evident for a lot of this game. Ismaila Sarr made a significant difference when he came on and Jeffrey Schlupp’s direct running in the final few minutes made an impact too.
