Boating on Lake Waco is about to face some changes. With construction underway at Twin Bridges Park, boaters are being warned to expect reduced access in certain parts of the lake until 2029.

Boating season is about to "ramp" up as the Army Corps of Engineers opens several Lake Waco boat ramps for the first time this season and the 4th of July holiday is expected to bring out boaters.
