President Trump indicated the Iran war may wrap up "very soon" and he could abandon efforts to force Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, as the war pushed U.S. gas prices over the $4 mark.

The White House promised an “important update” on Iran, in what is set to be the president’s first prime-time address since the U.S. and Israeli assault began.

The U.S. president will address the nation at 9 p.m. Eastern Time, or 9 a.m. Singapore/Hong Kong time.
