CLEVELAND -- Detroit Tigers ace Tarik Skubal will be joining three teammates in the 2025 All-Star Game on July 15 in Atlanta. To no one’s surprise, Skubal was added to the American League roster on Sunday evening. He joins outfielders Javier Báez and Riley Greene and second baseman Gleyber Torres, who were elected as starters by fans.

Starting pitcher Tarik Skubal was added Sunday to the American League team for the All-Star Game. Pitchers and reserves were announced Sunday for both leagues for the game July 15 in Atlanta. Three Tigers were revealed as fan-elected starters on Wednesday — second baseman Gleyber Torres, and outfielders Riley Greene and Javy Baez.

Tarik Skubal becoming an MLB All-Star was a foregone conclusion. The Detroit Tigers ace and one of the best pitchers in baseball has dominated on the hill this season for a team with a 13.5 game lead in their division and the best record in baseball (57–34).
