Firefighters rescued one person from a Fayetteville home that had heavy flames showing as crews arrived on Sunday morning. According to the Fayetteville Fire Department, crews responded at 8:26 a.m. to reports of a house fire at 1046 Tammy Street near Delina Street.

Crews are investigating a house fire that left at least one dead on the 1900 block of Armstrong Street in Fayetteville.

A Sunday morning house fire on Tammy Street displaced nine people, including some who were transported to the hospital, according to a press release from the Fayetteville Fire Department.
