Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has just unveiled its newest ship, the Norwegian Luna, set to sail in April 2026. This latest addition to NCL’s growing fleet promises to bring a fresh wave of innovation and luxury,

The 3,550-guest ship will sail roundtrip from Miami starting on April 4, 2026, Norwegian shared with Travel + Leisure. The Norwegian Luna will be 10 percent larger than the cruise line’s other Prima Class ships, the Norwegian Prima and Norwegian Viva, and will be designed as a twin ship to the Norwegian Aqua, which is due to be delivered next year.

Norwegian Cruise Line has decided, like many of its rivals, that bigger is better. At 1,056 feet long, 156,300 gross tons, and accommodating approximately 3,550 guests at double occupancy, Norwegian Luna has both a 10% size and capacity increase from Prima Class ships,

New entertainment options aboard Norwegian Aqua will honor one of the world's most iconic musicians and expand other popular shows.

Currently under construction at a Fincantieri shipyard in Marghera, Italy, the 3,550-passenger vessel will be called Norwegian Luna, Norwegian President David Herrera revealed late Tuesday during a preview event near the shipyard. It'll sail weekly to the Caribbean out of Miami starting April 4, 2026, he added.
