The Golden State Warriors, led by head coach Steve Kerr, were reportedly exploring two major trade moves to strengthen their roster ahead of the playoffs. Among these targets was Jimmy Butler, a potential acquisition aimed at providing Stephen Curry and the team with the support needed to emerge as serious contenders for the NBA Finals.

In my opinion, the Warriors continue to be the team rumored to be in the mix for Butler that makes the most sense. Stephen Curry and Draymond Green are Hall-of-Famers who aren’t getting younger. The question is whether they can get Butler without decimating the younger transitional core they’ve assembled.
