Reports of Instagram being down have surged on downdetector.com. Instagram appeared to be down for some users Wednesday morning. Downdetector.com, a website where users can report outages, showed thousands of reports of outages Wednesday morning.

According to downdetector.com, there were more than 11,500 reports of Instagram being down as of 9:25 a.m. ET Wednesday. By 10:15 a.m. ET, outage reports were down to 1,515. By 11:10 a.m. ET, outage reports were down to 246.

Instagram is down for thousands of users, according to Downdetector. The outage detection site found that just under 10,000 people reported the social media platform was not operating normally. There was a massive spike in reports from users just before 2pm on Wednesday.
