The England international wriggled away from three defenders before calmly slotting past Bernd Leno for his 26th league goal of 2024.

And in doing so, he continued his outrageous record in west London. In his first 50 Premier League starts, Palmer has been involved in 52 goals (34 goals, 18 assists), a record that only Erling Haaland and Andy Cole can claim to better. You wouldn't put it past him making it 53 before the end of today's game.
