Fox News host Greg Gutfeld is the ratings king of late night with 3.1 million average viewers, despite what Stephen Colbert may be telling his audience.

Late-night rivals and other celebrities rallied to support CBS "Late Show" host Stephen Colbert after the network canceled his show, and comedian Jon Stewart lashed out at Paramount Global for the decision to end the long-running TV program.

Stephen Colbert received the help of some surprise guests during a Coldplay-inspired segment that trashed CBS’s cancelation of his show. “People out there are bummed about the show ending,” Colbert began.

I believe CBS lost the benefit of the doubt two weeks prior, when they sold out their flagship news program to pay an extortion fee to said president,” Jon Stewart said.

"The View" co-host Sunny Hostin feared that CBS's decision to cancel Stephen Colbert's show could threaten First Amendment rights if it was politically motivated.

John Oliver, Jon Stewart, Jimmy Fallon, Seth Meyers and more had cameos during the July 21 episode of "The Late Show With Stephen Colbert."

Stewart said CBS was hoping to get into President Donald Trump's good books by cancelling The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

Stephen Colbert labeled himself a “martyr” for getting his flailing late-night CBS show canned — while telling  President Trump on-air to “go f–k yourself.”
