There may not be as many puffins as in Witless Bay, but you get much closer and can watch from a land base. No facilities and decent parking but worth the trip .Full review by advisorj

We did a tour out to the Witless Bay Ecological Reserve not too far from St Johns, and saw tons of puffins. That tour company doesn’t start running until May 14 though.
