I saw somewhere that foot passengers pay only 7Euro for a ferry ticket to and from Lokrum island but these prices peolple are giving is much more. How can I find out the correct info re ferry tickets to Lokrum and where to book them?

There is a ferry website with prices , the price is for the ferry crossing return and enters to the island. We went in April and the current price was €30 for adults €5 for kids
GM, My husband and I will be visiting Dubrovnik in August, and swimming in the Dead Sea is high on our wish list. I have been looking at tours offered by various tour companies, and most are for 11 hours but I have discovered the Lokrum is only 15 mins away from the ancient town port. If we take the ferry to Lokrum, is it possible to 1) swim in the dead sea - or is this something we would need to organize with a tour company? 2) walk the Paradise Trail 3) what else would you suggest We do prefer to explore on our own, so I am happy we discovered the ferry. Hi, you can take the boat to Lokrum from the old port and once you get to Lokrum you are free to explore the island at your own pace. I have been to the island twice and i recommend that you just buy a return boat ticket and then you can spend as long or as little on the island as you want. Everything is sign posted on the island and there are a few places to eat and drink there
