Dalwhinnie Cottage, Killegray Ridge, Bald Head Island, North Carolina, is a bright, airy, whimsical, three story lantern oceanfront beach house facing South Beach with direct beach access by boardwalk to the ocean and reversed living area on the second floor which offers spectacular views of the ocean. The ocean views from this cottage are incredible - on a clear day you can see forever. The cottage has over 50 windows and glass doors, offering views from every vantage point which are ever changing with the sun, clouds, rain, fog and wind. From the windows flanking the East side of the cottage is a view of the point of Cape Fear with the waves on East Beach falling on the Cape, and beyond onto the Frying Pan Shoals. Directly in front of the house is South Beach w/the clear vista of the ocean with dolphins frolicking and pelicans diving for fish, waves lapping towards the front of the cottage and ships on the horizon entering Cape Fear River.
