58 Marygate, York (white cottage on the left in the picture) is a 300 year old cottage that has been recently completely renovated to a high standard, whilst retaining its original period features and charm. It has a superb view from the front of the house over the entrance to the Museum Gardens and St Olaves Church. Marygate is a fascinating, attractive street in a central York location. It is not too busy, so it is quiet at night. It's location makes it an ideal base to explore all of York's many attractions, all are within easy walking distance / Minster 5 mins walk, main shopping areas 5 minutes walk through the Museum Gardens. The cottage has been equipped and furnished to a high standard incorporating a hand made kitchen with quartz work surfaces and Smeg and Neff appliances. Bathrooms feature travertine tiles, duravit sanitary ware and hansgrohe rain showers. The main bathroom also has a freestanding bath.
