Snips of information here and there in dioramas and information boards have brief information about the tribes the setters came in contact with. For example, one diorama shows the sharing of food with friendly Indians living close to the fort. The dig showing a burial area has information about the deaths of the people and cause of death - many by Iroquois attack; many native children. Natives and whites were buried in the same burial ground. Information boards show the lifestyle and long houses the Iroquois built. If you go to Halifax, visit Pier 21 Immigration Museum. Many display boards here show the native reaction to land claims by European, but only later, not in the 1600s .."This is my land".

10:00am - 5:00pm most days (call if you're going this weekend -- Easter will mean Holiday Hours of some sort). Tickets were reasonable $24.00(ish) for adults.
