Perfect beach for biking. Long firm sand and the wind behind you will make you forget you’re too poor to afford any of the houses on Kiawah. Would be five stars if they didn’t charge for parking.Full review by Mlashley

Kiawah is beautiful however the people who oversee the town need a course on the American Disabilities Act. Their law enforcement and wildlife patrol treat those of us with disabilities terribly.Full review by C S

Google Maps shows it's an easy 6 minute drive (2.9 miles). Freshfields Village is right at the traffic circle where you turn for Kiawah. Beachwalker Park beach access with picnic tables, bathrooms, and parking is right down the road. Freshfields Village has upscale shops, restaurants, fun events on their green lawn and a gourmet grocery store (Harris Teeter). And pharmacy, liquor store too. Bohicket Marina is also right off the traffic circle with more shops, live music on the boardwalk overlooking the water, popular Salty Dog restaurant, spas and salon. Have fun !

Yes, but we've found the best dolphin viewing is to the take the sunset dolphin cruise out of nearby Bohicket Marina Village off of the traffic circle. Very popular so book early. It's a fun way to get a boat ride, see a gorgeous sunset and watch the dolphins frolicking. Bohicket Marina also has a kids pirate cruise at 10:00 and 12:00. And the Ugliest fish kids fishing tournament. :)
