It's very interesting to see the craftsmanship and some history of hand-crafts. The shop is wonderful as well. It's off of the Blueridge Parkway so worth a stop in.Full review by LondonLover719

Seeing both attractions is certainly doable in one day. Start with the Folk Art Center which is self guided and can be done easily in one hour. From there go NW on the Blue Ridge Parkway and see part of the wonderful Parkway until you reach the exit for US 74A, take I40 toward Knoxville, then US 25N to exit 50B/Hendersonville Road, the left on Boston Way. This is 6.6 miles and should take about 9 minutes. The Biltmore Estate requires that you park and ride their shuttle if you want to tour the house. The grounds are open to driving your own car. Have lunch in one of the many restaurants available.
How much time should be allowed to see the Folk Art Center?
