Do you think we are wasting time to go in mid-Feb? We just decided to visit Antwerp this wknd and wondering if it is too cold for the animals to be out...weather forecast says 10-14 degrees. I prefer not to waste 70EUR entrance...pls advise :-)
Hello! You have been to Antwerp Zoo. Could you please tell me if ring-tailed lemurs are kept behind a glass wall or they are in the wild, so one can approach them and touch them? This cannot be seen in the photos...Thanks a lot in advance! Anna.

I believe they are behind glass but there are 'behind the scenes' tickets/packages that can be bought where you can get up close to certain animals. I am not 100% sure of which ones - but email the Zoo and they will be able to advise you. When you do visit the Zoo be prepared to spend all day meandering round it. I was impressed with the place for cleanliness and the animals all seemed content - any staff we spoke to was helpful - I didnt want to leave .
