Hi Carol, thanks for your message. There are many hotels within the city centre that are good. The best idea is to contact the Napier Visitor Centre who will be able to tell you who has rooms left or if you want to look at the options and book direct you can see accommodation on the Hawke’s Bay Tourism website. Good luck and we look forward to seeing you in February!

Hello, I would definitely recommend a visit to Napier before attending an Art Deco weekend. Coming any other time of year gives you the best options to take in the architecture of the city in the very best way. It is so much easier to go on a relaxed exploration when the city is not filled in with thousands of visitors. Coming to Napier means falling in love with Napier: the feel of the city, a perfect snapshot in time, is something which has impressed thousands of people (locals and tourists alike). Once you have taken this is, there is no doubt that you will be back to experience an Art Deco weekend: the most lively version of a true history trip!
